Certification of Modules, Containers / Edge Computing
Modules are defined as a total, or partially prefabricated, set, composed of a customized modular structure made from panels and partitions, in a prepared container, or safe room, adapted to receive equipment characteristic of the function of a Data Center: IT equipment , Telecom, energy distribution, environmental control, security, surveillance and monitoring (SDAI, CCTV, access control, automation).
Certification Process
Certification of customized prefabricated modules can be completed in two phases:
Phase 1- as a serial product,
Phase 2- as a component of a larger DC infrastructure.
Phase 1 is mandatory in both cases, phase 2 is optional.
In phase 1, the project and manufacturing line (production process) will be evaluated and the module will be certified. This means that all modules manufactured after this initial certification will automatically be certified.
In phase 2, that is, if this module becomes part, as a component of a system integrated into a website, after installation on site, certification of the website to the desired ANSI-TIA-942B standards begins, or ISO/IEC22237-X.
